Dear Parents/Guardians,

We are excited to announce that beginning this week, 7th and 8th grade students will be assigned a locker on the first floor to use each day to store their books, supplies, and personal belongings.  We will do our best to provide a lock if a student does not have one and must be returned at the end of the year in June.

Students may use their own lock, but if the key or combination is lost it will be cut/damaged to open the locker.  The school locker is the property of The SEEALL Academy and students are expected to adhere to the following rules or receive penalties which may include the loss of locker privileges.

  • Lockers may be visited daily between 7:45am-8:05am before school and during period 6 lunch 12:10pm-12:55pm. Lockers may also be visited with the classroom teacher at 2:25pm prior to dismissal.
  • Any tardiness to period 1 class related to lockers will not be accepted as an excuse.
  • Students may not share the locker with another student.  Anything found in a locker will be the sole responsibility of the person to which the locker is assigned.  Locker combinations are not to be shared with anyone else.
  • Objects/articles must not be put in the locker if it is against the law or school policy.
  • Kicking, hitting, slamming, defacing, using graffiti, bending/prying/jamming of lock, and other such abuse is not allowed. No (stickers) may be glued, taped, or affixed to the inside/outside of the locker.  No personal padlocks are to be used on lockers; any padlocks used will be cut off.  Students/Parents may be liable for any costs incurred for damages to the locker.
  • Any food or drinks must be removed daily and not stored overnight.
  • All things stored in the locker must be kept in a clean and orderly condition.  No throwing trash on the floor outside of the locker.  Do not place large bulky items such as backpacks into the locker as it can jam the locker door.
  • Failure to follow any of the above rules will result in the loss of locker privileges.
  • The school is not responsible for any lost or stolen items if a student has failed to lock their locker.

Please reach out to Assistant Principal Andrew Wells with any concerns.

Sincerely,

Angelo Sacco
