A Parent Education Workshop has been curated by the superintendent’s office and Child Mind Institute for D20 families. Having had the privilege to preview the content, I can attest it is exceptional. Facilitated by the Child Mind Institute, this workshop aims to equip parents with the tools to identify mental health needs in children. What sets this session apart is its accessibility. In our roles, we frequently find ourselves educating and assisting families in navigating this particular subject matter and the information and the methods used in this training can enhance our own ability to fulfill that responsibility with greater ease.
