6TH GRADE NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION!

Please join us in the transition for 6th grade students to middle
school. New parents and students will have the opportunity to
learn about our school, meet school staff and gain helpful tips for the beginning of the school year!

Social Studies Supplies

Sixth and Seventh Grade Social Studies 

  1. Notebook or Composition Book- For taking notes and completing in-class assignments.
  2. Pens and Pencils- Including a variety of colors for highlighting and note-taking.
  3.  Highlighters- For emphasizing important information in texts and notes.
  4.  Erasers- For correcting mistakes in notes and assignments.
  5. Box of Colored Pencils  and 3-5 markers – useful for maps, timelines, and other visual projects.
  6. Sticky Notes/post its- For bookmarking important pages or writing quick reminders.
  7.  Ruler- Useful for drawing maps, timelines, and graphs.
  8. Scissors- For cutting out materials for projects and activities.
  9.  Glue Stick or Tape- For assembling projects and interactive notebook entries.
  10. Planner or Agenda- For keeping track of assignments and important dates.
  11.  2 plastic folders (sturdy)not paper folders
  12.  Box of tissues.

 

Eighth Grade Social Studies

  1. Binder- For organizing handouts, worksheets, and notes- with three dividers.
  2. Pens and Pencils- Including a variety of colors for highlighting and note-taking.
  3.  Highlighters- For emphasizing important information in texts and notes.

  6. Loose-Leaf Paper- For additional notes or assignments that will be added to a binder.
